A flag fills wall space in a way almost nothing else does. A poster needs framing to look like anything, and a canvas print costs several times as much. A flag goes up with four pins and immediately changes the room.
Lemmy’s bass is a strong choice for it. The band logo is everywhere, but the instrument is specific — it points at the actual sound of Motörhead rather than just the name. Anyone walking in who knows the band will register it straight away, and anyone who doesn’t will just see a good-looking wall.
They suit practical spaces more than formal ones. Behind a drum kit, over the amp in a rehearsal room, across a dorm wall, in a garage or a home studio. Rooms where you’re actually doing something rather than entertaining, which is where this belongs.
Easy to move, too. It comes off the wall in seconds, folds down to nothing, and goes up somewhere else when you do. That matters more than it sounds when you’re renting and shifting every couple of years.
Hung up or taken on the road, it’s one of the cheapest ways to make a space feel like yours.
