New York's MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE ('MSI' to their fans) is an inflammatory band that's been mixing punk rock and driving electronic music since 1997. With an amalgamation of sounds and genres, the band has been storming the electronic and punk scenes, garnering many hardcore fans in their wake with both their recorded material and manic live performances. MSI has toured with everyone from System of a Down and Rammstein to My Chemical Romance and Linkin Park, they've had countless chart-topping singles, and they've moved hundreds of thousands of records in their decade-long career. MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE live and die, however, by their core fanbase-- a rabidly devoted following who couldn't care less about things like 'chart positions' and 'units sold'; fans who simply love the band for their unconventional, infectious music and raucous, you-never-know-what-to-expect live shows. In early 2008, MSI toured throughout Australia, New Zealand and Japan, then completed a sold-out tour of the UK. The band returned to the US to finish up work on their fourth album if, released via an exclusive license with THE END RECORDS on April 29th, 2008. Following the release of if, MSI again hit the road hard for a nearly-sold-out US & EU headlining tour. The band has since released a brand new video for “Never Wanted To Dance,” which received more than 50,000 views on YouTube in a single day-- a testament to the band's previously mentioned fans and, of course, to the infectiousness of MSI's music.
